About the Founder
I am Dr. Courtney Jackson-McCray, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Codifi Medical Coding & Consulting, LLC (CMC).
I received my Doctor of Healthcare Administration degree from Virginia University of Lynchburg (2024). I attended John F. Kennedy Sr. High School (New Orleans).
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Herzing University and my Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I am a Certified Professional Coder (2007), a Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (2020), and an AAPC Approved Instructor.
I am a New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce member and a National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS ) member.
Some of my job roles include Manager of Coding and Clinical Documentation, Risk Adjustment Business Consultant, High-Risk Disease Detection Manager, Risk Adjustment Coder, Coding Educator II, Medical Biller, and Certified Nursing Assistant. I have worked for Medicare Advantage Payers, Physician’s offices, and Urgent Care centers.
Medical coding is my passion, and I love what I do! With over 20 years in healthcare, I want to share my knowledge and expertise through teaching to EDUCATE, MOTIVATE, and help others ELEVATE in their career.
