What is medical coding?Medical coding assigns standardized codes to medical diagnoses, procedures, and services to facilitate accurate billing and reimbursement. How can I become a medical coder? To become a medical coder, you must complete a training program in medical coding and earn a certification such as the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential.

What skills are important for a medical coder?Important skills for a medical coder include attention to detail, analytical thinking, knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, and good communication skills.

Can I get additional time to finish the course?Additional time extensions may be purchased for a monthly fee. The date of purchase is considered your course start date; additional time is also given for processing your order. After your order is processed, you will receive further email instructions on course access.

Do you offer Payment plans?Monthly payment plans are available. A non-refundable deposit is required. PayPal can be used for the balance of the course after the non-refundable deposit is paid. An invoice will be sent for the non-refundable deposit. The deposit is due before the start of the course.

How do I pay if I am not using PayPal?Pay in Full: An invoice can be sent for the full balance. Payments can be made with a debit card, credit card, or using PayPal. Payment Plan option: Once the nonrefundable deposit is paid. The first (1st) monthly payment will be due within a week (7) days before the start of training and can be broken into four (4) remaining payments. The second (2nd) and third (3rd) remaining monthly payments will be due on the 5th of each month. All invoices will be emailed, and payments can be made with a debit card, credit card, or PayPal. The remaining balance must be paid two (3) weeks before course completion.
